Notifications are sent to your team members when incidents occur.
Team members can set up their notification preferences on the notifications page. By default, your e-mail address is set up as a contact method. To add more possibilities like SMS messages and alert Calls, add your phone number on the right side.
You can specify two policies for Critical and Minor incidents. Minor incidents require less intrusive methods like email. For critical incidents you want to set up notifications which are most effective to reach you when needed.
To make sure you receive all phone call alerts, you can add the following phone number as a contact in your phone. On iOS you can favorite the contact to make sure the phone still rings when the “Do Not Disturb” mode is enabled.
